Kent siege 4/5

Good morning,

I went to the Kent siege today and it saddens me that Zen lost kent this will mean I have to run down to mlc 3 to get caspa pack.... that is quite anoying. There is also the fact that slm continues to own most castles so overall I am quite sad.

It has been a while since I have had such a busy wis panel, however I will cover the siege first as the rest of the stuff is a lil daft !!!

Someone mentioned to me that I am a jinx and I never come to the sieges where SLM get beaten :( ..... it is quite frestrating for me as well as I get wis saying I missed awesome siege :(((

Maybe I am a jinx o.o !!!

Eternety BP is not one to give up and it was another spirited performance from the pledge who are emeraging as a talented set of siegers a few people mentioned that to me today as well Meph and his boys are doing a good job.

For the most part they keep trash talk to a minimum and go about there business in a well manored way. It was SLM today that could not resist a good gloat !!

I want to point out it is really easy to sing when your winning and with the odds stacked in your favour it is easy to invite then to the other side of the flags knowing you have so much support... Troje you were doing this all day it does not suit you..... you do not strike me as a person who goads the opposition then when they come running you hide behind the 3 level 60 tanks !!!

I wis him afterwards :)

This siege started off with Zen lining up his boys, however SLm quickly arived in numbers and quickly took charge of the seige area. This Siege was only going to go one way as SLM had 8 60+ chars roaming around.

Eternety came at SLM time and time again, with too much luck. After fully securing the area they moved in a prince.

After this there was a stand off as SLM were too great in numbers. Just when I thought we were going to see an uncharateristic white flag I saw an awesome move....

Speakers is brought onto the field all of a sudden the SLM camp was calling for buffs and quickly getting ready for the coming assalt from speakers who as you know I am quite a fan of. Yes he is botted but he causes lot of problems for SLM and can often turn a battle on it's head.

Up pop speakers at the main gate .....

Then a quick sneak round for Chrysis and Swordhunter to the side gate for same gate smashing.... unfortuatly the did not make it through, however this very nearly worked... it deserved to !!

By the time Zen arived SLM had got enough people back to defend.

This was another victory for SLM, however a glimpse of what's to come from the promising blood pledge eternity.

Thankyou you to both sides for not attacking me, apart from my abligitory trip arrow from darkcasm (lol!). On a side note can I please remind people at the siege that Silver Radiance is a neutral pledge and that I do not siege.

Justi has given us all instructions that if we want to siege we leave SR and rejoin afterwards. Whilst syni and others may wish to siege in the near future I am not sieging. There are still a few who like to remind me I am fair game in the siege zone and that is true so I accept it :)

Hello everyone,

The server has been quite quet this week I attended heine, giran and kent sieges and nothing really up to much a few castles changed hands but there was not much of a fight.

On the forums I posted about the pledges that are strong at sieging and Crysis was all to eager to point out angel club as a silent but deadly pledge i.e when they turn up in numbers you should hand over the keys to your castle or they will take it..... and so it was the case with heine angel declare 10 mins later MUT no longer holds castle.... I did not see the fight however syni tells me it was quick and painless ^^.

Sieges

Congratulations to Eternity for 2 reasons.

Kicking franse out of the pledge as he multi users. I have never been so insulted over something so trivial... note to fransance MANNERS COST NOTHING !!!!

The other reason is that they have left kent open like they said they would do...... I hope you keep kent for a while longer however I fear taht when SLM next come knocking there will be more then 2.

I was having an interesting converstion regarding sefiroth who braved th entire eternity defense by himself and it is amazing how much damage he can take he has 6 guys pounding on him and he still managd to walk away

.... anywaythe interesting point came when the person said.

"Sefiroth is kinda wierd"

"how so I reply"

"he can somehow hit me from 4 cells away.... x.x"

The person in question is not your normal hate monger or cheat accuser so this was quite interesting for me !!! why do I miss all of these stuff.... I have not seen this particualr hack on sef but will keep an eye out :)

So I thought that when papi moved on and Sua took over that 300 would be on the mend.... out would go the huge over extended ego's and trash talk that filled global under it's previous prince. To a certain extent I was right and it has been kept in check. I have seen the likes of Kantor, ravensky. Blackjack21 around and about and they are the model preffessionals being gentlemen they are, however all to happy to grab there sword and smack you a few times if needed :)

So the 300 we all know and love ..... erm not quite !!!

Unfortunatly it is people like Sua who let the server and himself down with stupid actions that hurt his pledge and his own repuatation... lets recap.

Duringthe giran siege Syni wis me and said something had happened that was a bit wrong !!! so I had a chat with the player as I like to get both sides of the story. I was expecting for him to be some stuck up kid that deserved it and Sua did us a favour..... unfrotunatly not !!! He was a nice friednly person who was new to tha game and had lots of questions I even lent him some armour until he gets on his feet.... I had to force him to take it as he wanted to work for it and not be given stuff for free (a breath of fresh air!!)

He went on to explain that he had also visted the grian siege and was taking a look around the castle when he came across lucky who after chatting with him escorted him to some where safe where they chatted some more.

Then up comes Sua apparently ends him in 3 hits then just runs off without any kind of appology !!!
Syni tells me that he came back 2 mins later and appologised and Lucky ressed him, however it does seem that old habits die hard !!!!

I am sure that after this I will get countless wispers saying how bad it is I wrote this, however I have a screen shot and transcript... the truth hurts sometimes !!

Millamare return from lineage rehab

Welcome back Milla and corro who also came along for a while. We went to hunt lasta with ZwarlordZ aka maddog and had some fun..... until I accidentily subbed escape scrolls for escape scrolls..... hunt ended :(

SR seems to be the place to be with another elite player joining the already swollen ranks.... welcome AmericanGirl.

With the new players in the pledge I have found time to hunt with some genuinly talented players which has helped me learn a lot more about hunting/pledge hunt dynamics, however I still enjoy my hunts with conal ^^

I had the chance to link in with AG and Augi who I had heard about, however not hunted with. We went up for a mummy lord and after 3 mins had already started teasing me about the fact I need a GPS ......

We got to 60 in the end did'nt we :P

Then he left me with little nugget !!!! .... some people like cheerleaders, some like fat girls (see previous post) other like Augi are MILF hunters !!!!

maybe you should change aftershave !!! :P

Giran Siege 21/4

This Giran siege was only ever going to go one way with SLM having far superior numbers, howver it was a good fight and 300 got stuck in once again.

This sige was however a good siege for several reasons..... I saw some people sieging using there heads not there swords...

1. Someone using the back door.... forgive me for being stupid but if there is a shit load of 60+ at one gate.... why not try the other one !!!!

Some good initiative from Susponte !!!

2. Buri Buri in crawling hand poly.... nice move !!!

Unfortunatly with no ac he died a few times..... but it made me laugh when 5 SLM were playing chase the hand through the garden only for him to go and hid in a bush ha ha !!!! very funny ^^

During the sige there was some death..... No one likes to see dead mages :(((

The siege was over SLM had a confortable victory, however that was not the end >.<

Heine Siege 15/4

Thankyou once again to everyone who lets me drop in on Sieges.

I checked in on Heine seige that saw ZenSword from bloodpledge eternity defend against SLM and rings. When I normally swing by I see all sorts of preperation going on.

However this time I saw this o.o !!!

This made me chuckle and made me wonder what stype of a siege this was going to be !!!

The siege started off with some light skirmishs and a few deaths, so I thought I would stay and see how things progressed.

Eternity BP were defienat in there defence who bravly faught chars superior in level, however could not hold them off forever..... right lets take the fight inside.

Bizzarly SLM were reluctant to take the crown, I am not sure if this was tactical or that they did not have a royal to take the castle :\. SLM formed up ready for the incoming attack.

And it certainly came with Eternity re-taking the tower area and forming up, hower you always know that with time still left to siege there were always going to come back... and they did.

Shortly after SLM took the castle and formed up at the front of the castle.

I only got a few snaps of this siege which does not show how brave Eternity pledge was and that they are shapping up to be a nice little siege pledge...

Angrim caused lots of trouble for Eternity... that is until he got decay pot by BlackJack21 and venzed >.< ..... however Agrim always re-appeared 2 mins later ready to rain hell (until he got decay pot again!!!). I have said this a number of times now and that is mages and elfs cause a lot of problems in a siege yet they are not often see non ken ..... When you look at LOA siege videos they are the ones causing the death :\

well done to ZenSword for putting in a good fight.

Lyz drops in

it has been a long time since Lyz has visited me, and still the wait goes on :P, however she dropped in on Conal who I was hunting with to say a few things about the up and coming stat redo.

I would like to point out that this blog was the first blog to break the new guidlines on the stat redo. I have seen a few other blogs dropping the material I dropped 5 months ago :P

Here is another exclusive from Lyz with a few further details and refinement on how Hp will be worked out... If you suffer from knight envy then look away now, this ain't pretty !!!!

A huge Thankyou to Lyz for dropping by it is always great to see you :)..... Conal also put a lot of effort into making the forecaat spreadsheets to help the community and he also makes lots of posts on the forums. I feel his contribution often gets overlooked :(

Hi Everyone,

Lineage has been a huge rollacoaster ride for me of late. my wireless internet connection is slowley sucking the fun out of this game for me which is a huge shame as I like playing it so much.

Further more I have gone back to uni and have not had that much time to play, however the main reason I have no updated the blog to be honest is taht I have been a bit lazy I have continued to collect content in my capture folder that is now 700mb big o.o !!!

Also I have spent so much time camping caspa pack then some babo goes and gets a merk cap !!!! god damn !!!!

After a large amount of being teasted about beeing a noober Syni finally reaches level 52. He has been getting there slowley but surley until he decided that enough was enough and did a 18% day o.o to leave him at 98%.

He then finished off that morning before going to work :)

Grats Syni you really do deserve it... maybe now you can afford to buy some MR :P !!!!

I have always said SR is a fun place to be and now it seems we half the server in our pledge..... It seems just's recruitment strategy of

Whilst some babo was raiding caspa pack for a merk cap I was in lasta 4 having a great time... although it was quite tough for me I had a lot of fun. I was kindly donated a DK scroll as well as I was able to go to the holy land which was really cool....

The migits with 6 packs made me laugh so much I nearly fell off my chair and the ootyu were really cute... until they attacked at which point I was running around shouting " get it off me.... get it off me, I did'nt mean all those mean things Mad Dog.... get it off me" he he !!

Thankyou very much for inviting me along, although it will need to be a treat by the time we finihsed it was 6:30am for me x.x !!!

Note to anyone going with this lot..... DO NOT LET MAD DOG PULL THE MOPS !!!

Aden siege 27/3

Well what started off as a day of me trying to get to 10% resulted in lag deaths all around :(.... I was just getting bored and swung by kent to see what was going on and I saw this .....

This was a little strange to say the least.... any prince who fancied kent could have it ( even Justi who would no doubt d.c 5cm from the crown and still claim it >.<). I thought this was very strange becuase it was an SLM owned castle and they are rarley so charitable with there castles !!

Then I got a wis saying there was a siege going on in Aden.... and boy it was a big one.... On one side we had the juganaut that is SLM with rings submitting there heavy hitters... rings are also very experienced holding IGG now for a good 6 months on a very regular basis and showed it... SLM lack strong bow elfs so it is a good job rings brought theres ^^

The other team were formed up of 300 (now headed up by Suasponte) Pilimit who can boast a range of talent including Speakers, royal family who largly provided fodder for Oin :( and noob club who are not afriaid of a fight and have 037 umungst there ranks.

This was always going to be a good fight and I predicted a close encounter.

SLM are very patient they will happily sit for hours and repel waive after waive with no appearance of bordom there stratagies are largly based on atttrition and form very strong defensive units.

The tactics the sieging side used were very smash and grab and frustrated slm for long periods slowly drawing them out and using up their pots.

It started off with a standard siege layout with around 10 a side with SLM forming around the main tower.

But it soon it became apparent that this was not going to be a pledge dipping there toes in the water as each side got more and more people involved.

SLM, as you would expect were very diciplined and experienced and set out there stall early claiming the tower as the ground to hold and forming a cube around it, however there are always 3 people that can really do some damage it tends to be the same 3 names....

And do not get me wrong SLM are packed full of talent with many 60+ but these 3 once were like a thorn in SLM's side all day !!!

Here we see Oin and next to him is 037 drawing a few SLM out into a small skirmish on the edge.

More and more people got invloved with SLM around 30 in number franticly defend the tower against a repeated onslaught each time they came a few more pots were used up this was going to be a battle of attrition and it was one that SLM were very prepared for.

Despite the best efforts of Pilimt and Co there first wave was repeled... round 1 to SLM.

On so many occasions SLM has outlasted there opponents by stobernly defending the tower using what seems to be an endless supply of pots with the ability to absorb damage and deal it in equal measure..... not this time !!!

By this time there were ring side seats available and I would just like to say thankyou to both sides for not attacking me whilst I was taking photos :)

.... there was one ( there is always one)... chance you babo E-bind me once is an accident but twice is just stupid >.< !!
Pilimit, 300, royal and noob came back and had a plan... it was a good one and it worked well.... mages send in wave after wave of LS and MS as the tightly packed SLM group just stayed resolute.... they had to they had no elfs to repell the mages !!

This led to 2 things !!!

1. SLM coming after the mages and engaging knights on the edge of the square, which created this beauty of an opportunity !!!

2. death of mages .... no one likes to see it !! (lol!)

Me and syni(babo) were commenting throughout and slightly after I said about speakers and 037 and then this happened ..... after SLM broke rank 037 and Speaker came through the middle !!!!

WITH 20 MINS to go !!!!!!!!!!!! the breakthrough happened !!!

Then came the call..... from Loushah !!!

come one come all..... with SLM on the ropes now was the chance to take up arms.... for every time you go to kent to find it closed, for everytime you want to hunt giran for every time Beleth takes your fancy only to find closed doors... now was the time to defend !!!!

I have no idea who LuoShah is as I asume that is not his main char but it made a refreshing change from the trash talk going on on global !!! I have had the pleasure of chatting to LuoShah when he was in noob tos and was a nice guy... maybe you will wis me with your real Identity batman !!!!

The previosly imperious SLM had fallen there battle of attrition was lost due to the sheer determination Pilimit and Co !!!! with SLM's weakness bare for all to see !!!!

For the first time Pilimit, 300, Noob club and Oin were is possetion of a 5m a week castle !!! they formed up around the tower ready for the inevidtable SLM attack that was assembling outside. 10 mins and they would be the first alliance to break the iron grip of SLM !!!! GAME ON !!!

If SLM showed that they miss elfs and mages from the pledge as there weakness, they sure as hell showed what there strength was. Wth SLM not needing to sit tight and out pot there opposite number they set about slaughtering all in there path with the array of talent they have at there dispossal.

SLM made short work of the defenders and reclaimed there castle with 5 mins to go in show of brute force.... with so many 60+ there was unlikley to be any other outcome !!

I like rings especially there prince who I think is very down to earth and of course high lev ^^ so it is funny that he should wis me and remind me that speakers is bottted... yes he is but he is still a bloody beast !!!! (this was in responce to me shouting on global that Speakers is a monster!!)

Whenever I see him at a siege he causes a lot of damage !!

I would also like to point out that NO PLEDGE !!!!! are 100% angels every pledge has the occasional botter or brought char or adena buyer or uses scroll macro's.

Overall another SLM win, but this time they had to fight for it !!! I was a great siege even better then the giran one a few months back !!!

* on a side note I cannot help but mention Nowudie.... I have hunted with you before and yes your a strong and skilled char, however please remember that once upon a time you were bad mouthing on global at SLM when you were at 300 !!!

No.... I do not need to ask for directions !!!

As anyone who has gone hunting with me will tell you I have certain drawbacks...

1. I am worse the a girl.... I take sooooooo long to get ready for a hunt... like really long !!
2. I get lost take me to TOI and I garentee you we will get lost if you follow me !!!
3. Running away from bosses ... shouting help help help * see point 1 about being a girl*

The first one people have got used too. Even the pinicle of patiance that is Conal accepts it takes me 10 mins to set up...he know gives me 10 mins notice of the hunt whilst he goes to the toilet and gets something to eat.... at least when he gets back he only has 5 mins left to wait >.<. I was hunting in TOI and as per normal got lost.... very lost and somehow ended up here....

Things got worse....

A lot worse....

SR has become a very interesting place to be and when Milla gets back it will be even more fun with more take the piss out of Joe days :P

Hello everyone,

It has been a long time since I have posted which is not ideal I have been very busy with uni at the moment and to be honest I have no had taht much stuff to post. I will promise to update on a more regular basis from now on... I have a feeling things ar going to get a little more interesting.

Since hitting level 52 I am now involved with a lot more boss hunting and a curious addition to the pledge has got me on a steep learning curve once again.

Needless to Say I am averaging around 1-2 deaths per night though bad internet connection, boss hunting... hunting or just plain stupidity e.g

I think I tele home to regen so I alt tab out of game and go look at gamespot for some bits and bobs.... what actually happens is I go AFK at south drake spot, and die !!! (lol!)

I am really looking forward to the exp event as it will be a chance to break my 5% duck I seem to have aquired.... got to 4.9x and few times but not past 5% yet.... worse still of all the times I died non of them were on Friday the 13th >.< >

Ep U part II/III preview

Today after what we all thought was nc going on a lunch break and forgetting to switch the servers back on turned out to be a real treat... well kind of.

The good things

- Everything according to nowudie drops condensed OJ's as seen in global.... about 7 times !!! - Yes they drop pots but we already have OJ's on server !!!! small things amuse...... (lol!)

- Bears... I got some bears. Not only are they super cudley and cute but they still have the 3 cell attack range, which is very handy.

The bad things

- Oh My GOD !!! the LAG ..... where did it come from ? I was on DI after I dc the first time, but it was so so bad... even worse is when conal said

" I hope they did not trial new death system >.<" - Thankyou for that conal that makes me feel so much better !!!

- Conals Titan belt is broken from updte (he has to feel mortal for 1 hour!!).... no wonder he can carry so much !!! if carry anymore then 50 pots I have to use Str spell to regen >.<

NERF ALERT !!!!

Bear summon do not seem to be as good as current dire bears in terms of damage dealt.... "yay!!" becuase mages need more balancing....

Managment Laky: *burts in* Dude.... your update is crap... Mages have more HP and more MP, what is going on...

NC lacky 1: Well we nerfed Destroy so it as strong as e-bolt and we discuised well by giving mp discounts on spells noone uses so I think that balances things out, you know we have been pretty tough on mages afterall !!

Managment Lacky: WHAT.... WHAT did you say !!! mages are the source of all problems they are lucky they have an ac at all !!!... with the increase in HP and MP there is a serious balance issue.... mages should not be able to hunt outside of SKT....... MAKE THIS RIGHT !!! I WANT ACTION NOW.... oh and make sure you add a few bugs we need to justify our jobs !!

NC Lacky 2: But GmLyzira said that the update should be bug free and should be kinder to mages ....

Managment Lacky: I don't care what she says.... she has been listening to too much construtive feedback !!!! I GOT IT.... THE SUMMONS..... nerf them !!!.... don't forget about the bugs..... Bugs mean jobs, repaeat after me " bugs..... means..... jobs" !!

Hi everyone,

Just a quick news round up from carebear Ken,

Lastavard pledge hunt

Firstly Welcome back milla. She has not been very well recently, however is back on the road to recovery... nothing is more soothing then playing lineage :P

Me, Syni, Milla and conal went to Lastavard trying to find our past the genrals that lie beyond... After numerous attempts to kill Laia we have decided that we do not have the right tools to beat her down so out attention has turned to the slave king !!!

He hits HARD !!!!

Our first attempt was not as good as it could have been after a bad pull.... pulling a pull with about 5 other mops is never a great idea.... somehow we got out alive ^^, not sure how but we did.

Then back in for round 2, after killing most of the spawn pockets first time round we quickly navigated back to the slave room and got a much better pull this time, however after 10mins of beating his arse he was still standing and with neither mages able to cast on him we retreated.... this time we were not so lucky and felt the full force of Slave :(

I am coinfident that after the re-roll when I roll int we will have a much stronger chance of beating him unless NC beef up the bosses again :(. For the time being we either need 2 elfs or another tank to take him down as we are just can't seem to out do his regen and beat down his 16k HP >.<

We will be back Slaven !!!!

Has he has'nt he ?

There are some rumblings going on in the Credance camp and after sk8's desire to take a break for a while... I think he summed it up well in this little caption.

I have no idea what he is up too but "he looks like one'o dem sneaky types to me" ha ha !!!

Maybe I will be lucky enough to find one of the "golden tickets" when I next buy a willy wonka bar :D.

It is good to see him back...... I wonder how long it will take cosa to sneak back into the US from mexico after her "holiday" in mexico. I hope for her swift return too !!!

Zyxial is bored !!!

It looks like after a long time Zyxial is finally quitting lineage.... He is certainly one of those marmite people i,e you either love him or hate him and I have to confess that I have had my fair share of run in's with him, however he is a lineage institution and is the highest level legit mage Ken has.

This made me laugh anyway.....

Syni hits level 50 !!!

Grats to Syni who crawled to level 50 after a serge from 60% to 100 in a few weeks :)

I had great delight in saying that 52 is the new 50 (lol!) :P... but he still hits pretty hard o.o

He is going to be mean when he hits lev 52 !!!

Coronis Quits !!!

After Milla's bout of ilness Corro has seen his life come into focus and the original Lin addict has gone on sebatical. He asured me it is temporary until the stat re-roll comes, however he is selling is sayha bow.... so I am not sure he is coming back.

Coro.... we miss you !!!

Unfortunatly this means that my blog needs to become more informative (yuk!)..... Gossiping is so much more fun !!!

Anyway I will see what I can publish about the up and coming ring enchants that are on the way... I have a feeling the ring market is in for a real shake up !!!!

Hitsugaya loses race to level !!! Joe Levels to 52

After a 15% headstart and swiftly closing in on the next level hitsu just did'nt log on few quite a few days giving me an opportunity to gain some ground and eventually overtake him and win.

This means that I get to title hitsu for 1 month with what ever title I want and the title I have chosen is.... well go and see for yourself :)

Once again that window I thought I would never see finally came up..... After an exausting few weeks of grinding I finally crawled to 52.

I has taken me about 4 weeks to level up which is not particually fast, however most of that was done in large chunks as I have not been able to play much. As you can guess I went for int and 20 int is a lot nice then 16 I can tell you that much.

Dire wolfs are very strong and so much better then gargs and also the DK poly is tasty... very tasty :D

Thankyou to everyone who helped me on the way especially protein who supplied me with a lot of TU scrolls to give me a little boost to get to the finish line.

Thankyou to everyone who put up with me in ToS and for the encouragement.... Dreadlord you can't be far away now.... your monitor see's more of you then your bed !!!

A lot of people help me and continue to do so and it is really appriciated, I hope I have made mersia proud.

I have no plans to see 53 anytime soon so I can just relax and enjoy some hunting with conal :)

Heine Siege

I have not been to many sieges recently, however if I see some action I will usually turn up to take a peak at what is going on. I was getting bored of hunting so I went to see what was going on in Heine.

Troje was the current owner of the castle and X11 were attacking. I was lucky enough to catch some of the action and not get attacked by X11... which I was quite thanfull for since I have not been in there good books for some time now.

Earlier in the week there was a thread started about the best PvP pledges and X11's name came up... un-surprisingly. There opening skirmishs resulted in one of the SLM elfs getting ended. and repelling some strong attacks from SLM/rings.

X11 held there own and justly proved that if pledges went 1 on 1 very few peldges would cross them on the battlefield !!! Go and take a look in the forums it is quite a clean thread... unless you have " people who do that for you" ha ha :P

SLM where amassing more and more supprt as the siege went on X11 continued to repel the attacks for a number of waves as X11 emphasised there ability to work well as a balances team they asumed defence formation in front of the bridge.

No seige is complete without a bit of trash talk. I used discretion this time since the 2 mages at the back refrained from double destroying me !!!

X11 retired after a number of waves knowing they proved then can hold there own, with no apparrent intention of wanting the castle they retreated back to hunt. SLM moved in on the tower and ensured that the castle was safe for the remainder of the siege.

I find it tough to keep up with who is on who's side nowadays with some noobclub helping X11. All I can try and do is speak to people from both sides to try and get the full story. It was a fun siege and the first I have been to in a while. I hope I will get a chance to do it again soon.

Times are hard !!

I often question my princes tactics when he manages to gain a new recruit. Classics such as FeverNova and Nellawafers have left me wondering where he gets these people and what he says to them. My concern it seems is not misplaced....

I will certainly miss them both they have always been really really helpful when ever I have had questions and have always made time for me :)

Valentines Event

Soon after the fall out that was "OrcHunter-gate" NC buttered us up with a mouth-watering double exp event... A sure winner in everyones eyes.

Normally I would try and get some screen shots of the people who leveled up during the events but would not have been enough people to make something meaningful.

We got Valentines cards to send to "our loved ones".... So for me that is Milla and Syni ha ha ha !!! Syni's card was very amusing !!!

I only got a chance to take part in one day of the even and went about getting as much exp as possible after putting in about 10% I was still short by the end of the event by 4% :'(.

This is the sort of thing that makes me smile, we did not have to take to the forums in numbers to complain about valentines event (or lack there of). it was announced in good time in the right proportion - Well done NC !!!

I am looking forward to the next event already... I am sure this will be around the same time as they drop the next update on us !!! Excited already !!!

The "Christmas" event draws to a close

Well It seems that after a lot of complaining about orc hunters the much sought after antlers were kinda worth it, if only for this cool picture you get for turning in Rudolfs Antlers.

+7 Str, Iron Skin, extra long haste,shield and BW all made quite a nice little buff. the problem we have in lineage is that they think that in the past events have come few and far between so everyone feels that if they miss out they will never get another opportunity.

This is soooo wrong... we have an awesome GM who is not only kicking bot arse but has also pledged to give us events on a frequent enough basis to get us out of this 2 events a year mentality.... this is further supported by people willing to take time of work for events. I loved Lyz's response of....

" If you took time of for every event this year you will no have a job for long "

The Poly Spellbooks were introduced into the game with devastating effects... I am not talking about the fact that any high level mage can turn most chars into a milk cow/floating eye. No I am talking about the moaning like a little girl at how the game is unbalanced and the spell needs changing !!! ha ha !!

I wonder if the voices would mute if every mage petitioned for knights to have soft ac like every other class !!!!

They have certainly made sieges a very dangerous place, but the spellbooks are still based on level/int/luck and lets face it any high level mage is already dangerous enough. I am sure that we will see these spell books in another event sometime soon which should add a little more balance.

Suffice to say I am not looking forward to being a millk now o.o

I also witnessed something very surprising and I have to applaud Oin for doing this it cracked the final days of the event wide open.

Take a bow Oin... you deserved it !!!

Ha Ha..... I think everyone should be made to do the Gludio to kent run by foot before they get given armour :P

The event for me was less about the event mops and more about the int snow rings that allowed me access to 7-12% exp days. I was lucky enough to guess that the orc warriers spawned every full moon and full sun on day 2 whilst I was not able to take advantage from this myself Coronis and Dakeebler elf snagged 7 orcs in the opening stages ( no Polly book though!!).

After people got more and more aware of spawn times and places we did not really get a sniff after that... although I went to TI from time to time the bases were already covered.

Overall the event was quite good fun, I would supplement my normal hunt with the odd Santa sock and nip over to TI for the orc from time to time. I do not think that this event set the place alight, however I do think it is a sign of the good things to come!!

Wireless sucks

My race got off to a decent start but was not helped by 3 d/c deaths, despite that I still managed to get to 60%.... a 15% headstart is a huge lead, I guess I will just have to do as much as I can.... I should be heading towards 65% but dc's are expected with wireless connections I guess.

Hi everyone,

I have returned after my few week break and I am now at university. I have gone from a trusty cable connection to a dodgy wireless connection which is a bit crap, but at least it works... just !

Connection or not I will be dammed if I can find one of the blighters !!!

It is suggested that the huntewr has several static spawn spots which are now boomarked and camped, I am not so sure about this as it goes against my theory of a random spawn and the faith I have in NC ^^.

I have been back one day and have already plundered 5% (-1 for lag death due to wireless connection!! *sigh*)

I was talking to Hitsugaya and randomly came up with this...

not only did this make me laugh, but the wager was also quite cool. Hits has a 15% headstart however I have 2 days free and will do my best to rattle towards 70% asap.

I could'nt leave without having a good old gossip... because lets face it nothing beats a good gossip and today topic is Windawood !!!

Now there are always 2 sides to a tale, however last night it seems that a small rebellion happened at Windawood and PiLimit has been disbanded... in it's place is Noob. I for one am pleased.

I spoke with Noob and has promised to keep the castle always open so that everyone has access to the boss. Please give serious consideration to allowing Windawood to stand as it is with Noob at the helm. I for one am very curious as to how this new pledge will behave and I think they should be given a chance.

I encourage you to go down and hunt Beleth also you can use the telporter to go to SKT 4 easily now that it is bot free it is a decent mid level huinting.

On a final note...

SLM you have Aden and indirectly Giran/IGG you have stamped your influence on the server and proved yourself to be an incredibly strong well organised pledge but greed will turn influence into tyrany...

Good afternoon,

After a number of hints at sciccors, papper and stone it appears we will get a version of the christmas event that ran in 2005, however I am sure there will be a twist to it a well.

Take a look at the christmas items in lineage db (from xmas 2005) to get a taste of what the christmas items will do. Unfortunatly I will be away for the first week or the vast majority of it... which is a shame as I normally throw myself into events so I can get as much stuff as posibble.

Lev 52 ???

After last weeks mini event I have to admit to feeling a little wiery On Thursday, Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday I have managed to get around 60% which is around 15% a day !! and for all those people whjo say I can level that fast in new tos..... I put in A LOT of hours. Leveling is easy when you have time :)

As you can see I missed my target by half a %... damn you nice, funny, interesting people who wis me :D.

With the new stat increases on items I should be able to add another 25% to that without too many problems... Give me that level 52 shizzle !!!!!!

On a slightgly lighter note whilst we were doing our regular hunt.... It seems it was pick on Joe evening (more then normal). Here are just a few of the one liners to come from our "grumpy" knight :D

With Conal on top form last night it is hard to imagine a pledge hunt without him. I hope he sorts out his lag problems and we can get times organised for pledge hunts for him....

I have not had a chance to catch up with Lyz for a few weeks, however when I do I will be sure to see if I can get any more clues as to what the next event will be :)..

So far we have a clue of Rock,Papper, Sciciors.. which sounds very cryptic. I was regening (for a change) when I saw this and it made me laugh.

I am sure news will break soon.. surley lyz cannot keep us dangling forever.... come on, give is some more clues :D !!

lineage: The Pringle

They say that once you pop you can't stop and that is the best way to describe the game for me at the moment... on wednesday the best thing happened... ever ever !!!

Lyz and the team made a great killg ring that would tempt all mages by the +3 int whilst taking away 5 str... there fun was short lived. Lineage cannot interpret negativbe values so it cycles round from the top... i.e every mage made 254ish Str which means they could smack fafu with a wooden stick and it would hit him he he !!!

So the result a quick fdix in the form of the removal of the str penalty... awesome. Sooooo I have had fun mercislesly exploiting the ring farming over 12% each day. I could not ply on Friday, Sat or Sunday but I am still hoping to be at 50% before the killg ring is changed :D.

I can get a faint wiff of level 52 already !!!

and to top it all off this happened...

Awesome..... Level 3 is a bitch 40% exp and only 4% karma ... hmmmm I guess my TOS key will have to wait a while !!!

I got e-mailed this today which made me laugh so hard I nearly cried !!!

Corro's baby bow

Our elf Coronis is getting itchy fingers again and is desperatly wanting a +8 Sayha bow.... I keep telling him that a k-bow is better... but it's like telling a 8 year old that this new teddy is better then the old battered one he has had since being a baby (lol!).

Anyway the last time he got like this he blew everything (well almost he made a +9 ETS) I am worried that the same will happen again, howerver corro's new ploy is to stock pile sayha bows so one of the is bound to go +8. When I asked him about it this is what I got...

Am I the only one who wants to see corro's happy dance.... I don't mind if the sayha's blow, however seeing his happy dance would make my month :)

Yet another new Bloodpledge

It has been a while since Troje made it into my blog and sure enough after a few hours of playing again he took no time at all.

It ws funny enough taht his pledge was call X11 is garbage but to then tutrn his own prince into a fanclub really made me laugh.. well I guess If noone else loves you then you have to take matters into your own hands :P.... they say there is someone out there for everyone he he !!!

Becuase Inferno's are like.... so last year

One of the things that makes lineage so great is the lengths people will go to to solve there bordom.. in this case The chosen One decided to go shopping for pets.... 2 Basil and a croc... nice !!!

Sk8 has been a very lucky boy recently and has reaped the rewards for his constant ending of Grim... becuase apparently the end less supply of PG's is just not a big enough drop :P....

Not to be out done Sk8 moved in for some more gloating when I made several remarks to him... surfice to say sk8 did not gloat anymore :P which then resulted in this....

Confessions of a Noober mage

The past few weeks have been quite interesting for me. After going on several boss hunts with conal my lev 60 damage slave I was starting to get used to whole set up and we were doing very well... so we thought we would take it up a notch and start hunting on 81f... which we did with not too many problems ( Besides trying to melee vampire !!).

Obviously feeling very pleased with myself having ended a number of bosses especially underwater ones with no hastle ast all we then took this further by getting together the peldge and going to lastavard. This is where things started to go a little off course.... we got totally owned. The reason..... becuase I am not high enough level to Weapon break/darkness some of the higher level bosses.

I was stuck.... having had a glimpse at the exciting lif of a boss hunter only to be told " not tonight lads" !!! This kick started a week lul for the first week of Jan until an opportunity to aquire Destroy came my way and after pawning my knight and elf items scrapped together enough to buy the mighty book.

This was a real eye opener for me... to compliment the fact I was too low level to be much use on anything more then a mainland hunt I found that my "mighty" destroy was infact a sleeping giant that needs several more levels to awake !!!

With everything point towards an exp push I crawled to around the 70% on the 8th Jan then made a real effort to push towards the 75% mark were I knew I was getting closer to that elusive level up....

Progress it would seem was not happening fast enough and I started to become frustrated again .... not for long it would seem, after getting totally and utterly bored I decided to see what was happening in orc town as someone had taken orc fort. I went down with Syni to see if we could get in to the dungeon for a hunt... we could not.... so we messed around for a bit !!!

After about 3 mins of quality time Oin hitting me with his DK sword I ran out of mp and I retreated back to behind the flags. I decided that now would be a good time to see how baby my destroy spear was....Turns out very !!! as Oin laughed ( quite hard I imagine) and exclaimed that the 100hp was hardly worth using pots for !!! ( Charming !!!)

After my outburst at Creeper who is one of the PiLimit prince's Zyxial was clearly not a happy bunny and was adement that the next time I was in a siege zone he would end me..... so as luck would have it I was at orc fort and Oin was getting more and more anoyed by the minute, so .....

Up pops Zyxial who's entrance included him popping out of coi and removing chunks of my hp with with destroy then continued to freeze me, causing me to tele then tried some erupt followed by destroy and a few other bits. Whilst it was all very fun wasting an hour and a half of there hunting time it made me realise that I am way out of my league !!!!

Playing with fire is fun.... but was not keen on getting burnt with Zyxial's destroy at 100 MR takes a lil below 400hp and Oin with his DK sword and huge amount of hp would take some moving.... so I decided to re-double my efforts at leveling and so the following exp timetable came about...

Oh and Zyxial taught me a really neat trick when casting destroy, nothing beats on the job learning.... Thankyou :D !!

Wednesday 12% (helped by killg)

* That includes a d/c death and one of those deaths where everything runs in slow motion as you just watch your hp slowley decrease until you get given 2 options... restart or quit... what a retard !

After a lot of hard graft the screen I never thought I would see appeared in front of me !!!

When it came up I was surpirsed.... I knew what it looked like and that it was coming but it still made me jump.... then I was scared of clicking the wrong thing !! Thankfully I did not and another point of int was added to my char :D

And....... with an awesome level up of 8hp and 10mp !!! Loving that !!! :D

The calm after the storm

I thought I would go and have a root around GTV and see what was in the shops only to find a nice little bargain staring me in the face...

A silver cloak for 18m.... after having previous conversations with Conal about me getting a silver cloak as it will allow me to have 100% mr whilst also giving me regen was essential if I did not want to get 2 hit by a seer !!!

Thankyou to Syni for the small loan... Great got a silver cloak, but not enough money to zel it.... typical !!!!

I was sniffing around the internet and came across this lovely document.

It is a lost of all the major changes that we are likley to get. This emphasises something as well.... It shows that despite NC Korea being high and mighty there is scope to remove content that is not suitable. It looks like the other NC "factions"have excorcisd there right to say no.. maybe we can !!!

New Stat re-roll !!!

I was chatting to corro about the re-roll and he said he had the details about how the re-roll is going to work... I was like, WOW !!!! tell me tell me tell me...

The he said he only had it for the elfs... please go and visit Coronis Blog on Lineage one if you made the wrong choice in making your char and chose elf !!.... however if you made an even worse choice and chose a mage stick with me and I will guide you through the stat re-roll !!

First I want to point out that the con wis mage has died a death !!!!... or has it !!

Right below are the details

Max HP: 800
Max MP: 1200

Char is still (char/6) +1 (there is a post about the new pets on Lineage one which I suggest you take a look at ^^)

ER increase every 10 levels
Initial MR is 15%

Right got the boring stuff out of the way !!!

Mage has the following base stats

Str 08
Dex 07
Con 12
Wis 12
Char 08
Int 12

You will then have 16 points to distribute these are special points and can only be allocted once. These special points are independent of any elixor or level up stat bonus (51+).

Each one of these special points will;

- Dictate how many mp/hp your mage has
- How much MR and SP your has
- It will allow special bonus depending on how you use these points which are 1 off.

The details of what special bonus you get are below;

HP & MP

In the above table were it says HP +1 it means for each level you will get an extra hp e.g +1 hp will mean for 50 levels you will get an additional 50hp so if you went for con 16 which is HP +2 that will mean +100hp.

The hp/mp roles will be "roughly" fixed, however has a very small random element of + or - around 1% of hp/mp. we do not know what the levels are just yet... but we will find out :)

This will be the same for MP as well !!!

Strength

We have Soft ac... your crazy if you do anything with STR !!!

Dex

If you want to fire a bow.... GET AN ELF !!!

Char

Part of me is surprised that there no bonus's for summon mages... the other part of me thinks that a couger's (Sex Panther) place is on 50f and if you want to be surrounded by animals go stand to the far left of orc beech !!!! ha ha !!! :P

INT

The Good...

- Lower level magic is going to get a lot stronger
- Area attack magic is getting stronger
- Overall magic is going to get stronger

The Bad....

- Magic will eventually either this update or next MISS !!!... yep that's right your your magic will now have + to hit !!

The Ugly....

- The +1 int is a straight damage indicator that will apply to all spells and will effect damage. This will recoup some of the ground lost from the LOA ruleset

- The +2 int gives +1 magic hit to spells that are cast. All classes have this so I would imagine the is a chance knight spells may start to fail more often. This means that there could be a chance spells like Immune and self target spells fail, however I imagine this would be very low for a mage !!!

But the thought of a heal not working after a B2S is very amusing !!!... very !!!!

The MR system is still in place however this could also effect other targeted spells such as TU and Cancel which could be boosted by this + magic hit value.

- The +3,+4,+5,+6 int bonus is very interesting. This "storm hit" applies to spells only levels 1-6 and will run along side the existing damage system creating a "crit" which is 1.5 times damage. So a base 18 int mage will get +8 hit increase to do a crit.

This only work for direct attack spells e.g VT, Erupt etc

We are not sure if +8 is a lot or not or how often it crits at +8 >.<

The big question is.... who uses attack spells level 1-6 !!!!!!

The role

The way it will work is that you will start a level 1 with the 16 "special points" added You will then level up by clicking a button and you will see your mp/hp increase and the stats will be re-calculated each time you press level up....until you get to 51.....

Once you get to level 51 you will add stats as normal which will continue to be based on the current reward system we have i.e +1 int will increase SP etc

Overall the mage class will become a little stronger as I am sure that at 16 con we will get the same or slightly higher level of hp we get at 18 con now... allowing you to add to int and wis. I would imagine that a common stat of;

16 con 18 int 18wis will be common... but someone might place emphasis on getting huge volumes of mp so they can heal there damage slaves more ... yes sk8 I am looking at you :P

2009 will be an exciting one as Lyzira shows us just what we have been missing out on all these years..... Someone who cares :D

Mambo Bunny Wabbit

Sorry I have not posted for a while. Ken has been very quiete as everyone is poor and trying to get levels.... It is coming to the end of the event and appart from a few decent drops there was nothing to shout about.... I will mention though that both Hair clips of lucididty on Ken are held by Silver Radiance !!!

I am up to 66% of level 51 so I am hoping in a few weeks I will be 51 then comes the slog to 52 :(((.... on the plus side I am nearly at 60% trowards my level 2 karma when I am 52 I think I will be about 25-30% of level 3 which is awesome... I think it will be novel to have 3f TOS key.

I did have a funny chat with Corro thought which made me laugh :D

We have done some pledge hunts in the higher lasta floors and thought we would try our hand at beating some of the harder bosses.... these were the results

After our crushing laia defeat Milla asked a friend how you defeat her... First the person explained how to do it then milla asked is there any other ways ?, the reply.....

Yes you heard it here first, the new TOS is out of bounds for all people until such time as Creeper levels to 52...

I had a rather rude conversation with Creeper. This is strange becuase he normally levels in the new TOS area with little more conversation then a smiley when I buff him !!!!!

I saw some mops in the little cove just below the main bridge down the hill and turned about 4 mops there that were wondering around. Creeper was at the top of the hill to the right of the bridge where I could not see him hitting 1 mop before he blessed me with this outburst !!!!

Creeper the point is this....

1. Spawn is very plentiful

2. It does not matter if you can take on 50... you can only hit one at a time and especially if they are not crowded round you and are just wondering around or have just spawned people will engage those mops.

3. A mage will start to turn a mop when he is on the edge of the screen often giving limited vision. There are many people who hunt here who appriciate this !!! you need to as well !!

Hi everyone,

Histpriclly I have a very busy christmas period with parents to visit and countless wine merchants to keep in business :). Never have I drunk so much and eaten so well..... well since last year he he. I have got a little behind in leveling and have become lazy :(.... now at 55% and will try to get towards to 75% mark as soon as possible.

I find myself eating lots and lots of cold turkey from the huge christmas dinner whilst yearning to level some more as Millamare has a mage Pomo that is reminding me that If I get lazy I will swallowed up by the now dubbed "Pomo Push" a unique way of leveling in New TOS she is the first one to do so on Ken server enabling crazy amounts of power leveling to be done !!!

Christmas has seen me feel the full force of my lineage adiction.... not a pretty site I asure you :P

Silver Radiance has gone from strength to strength in 2008 and we are turning into a nice little outfit. We have a lot of strong and more importantly up and coming players with little or no ego ^^... Throw into the mix Corro's excellent blog on lineageOne and mine here and you get a good fun pledge.

Corro recently turned 55 so congrats to him..... I am very jelous of his new poly and at the moment am having lots of fun using a poly wand to turn him into fun stuff... It will grow old but not quite yet :P..... corro is currently retaliating with cancel but poly wand is so much more funny ^^

I Believe that me and my damage slave are the first people on Ken server to get a Hairpin of lucidity and it is great fun !!!

I do not normally post drops shots... as this is not a bling blog. Sk8 does it way better then I do.. and he kills much cooler bosses !!

When you wear the item it makes the screen go Green and shows hidden mops that drop a few k adena each time... the hidden mermaid is the only mop that drops the blesssed trident weapon for the royal :D

Conal felt left out so he decided to go fetch his infared helm and wear it during the hunt as well (lol!)... as cool as it was he could still not see the hidden mops and said firstly it was wierd seeing me attack stuff ( I am noramlly a well behaved healer !!) and even wierer hitting a seemly random tile for no reason ha ha ha !!! can't wait for the looks when people go by and see me killing thin air !!!

Thankyou to everyone who spared 2 mins taking a screenshot of there +9 armour and weapons. I have gathered them together and they have been posted on the Lineage main Site again for all to see. Congratulations again to everyone who the spent a small fortune like me getting +9 items... still no +9 armour though (damn !!)

I was gutted I did not get a screen shot of Starknights +9 Harvest carot ROFL !!!! Thankyou also to the person who showed me a screen shot of not 1.. but 2 ancient necklaces (nice toys !!!).... I ask for pumpkin stuff and he pull those out lol !!!!

There was only one person who refused to show a picture of his items... no Prizes for guessing who that was !!!! everyone has a right to there privacy and I repect that ..........

General Update

Well it is the start of the festive season and we have another event to get our teeth into. The 4th quarter of the years has been quite something and there are no signs of things slowing down with Lyz promsing more of the same in 2009.

I am about half way to level 51 which is great I will not make it this year I do not think.... but I will give it a good try. The Killg rings are fantastic. I was speakingh to Lyz a few days ago and she hinted that the ring would be a full stat ring by saying the ring will remain static until the holiday season is over. I was going to post them to break the news about the awesome ring.. however I was too slow.... yestedays news is not news at all !!! This did make me laugh though !!!

I am hoping to get an interview with Lyz early next year as our new Co-ordinator has made quite the impact I also want to get an interview with the rest of her team.... I hope I can temp her onto Ventrillo for a confrence type interview :D... I am not sure if she will do it yet but It will be nice.

Next year I will be looking to do interviews with the game staff as well as some of the influential people on Ken and non come more influencial then the royals of the main pledges. I hope they will be kind enough to give me an interview !!!!

If she gives me the nod I will be looking for suggestions for questions to ask her :)

Oi damage slave......

I am starting to settle into my role as a heal master with some nice boss deaths..... and some of my own !!!

300 !!

The first thing I want to say is Thankyou to NowUDie for helping me get to the 2f of lasta for the first time ever. He played a key role in ending the bosses and would not have got as far without his help.

It seems I am on the 300 hatelist for my apparently one sidded posts on the sieges which all came to head when I asked betrayed for royal buffs which we needed to do some testing on the 81f mops... he flatly refused !!!!... much to my surprise.

The reason for such a pety denial was a comment a made that 300 either were too lazy or could not defend Giran... apparently this pissed a lot of 300 off. My point was that they died a few times trying to take it only to give it up again !!!

I see there point as well as they had already taken it once to prove a point and did so succesfully the weekend previous and did not want to end up tele back to castle each time !!! hmmmm....

So I will be sure to make my next siege coverage more balanced... I like 300 as far as I am conccerned this is a game and what happens at a siege should be left at the siege. I have friends in 300 and I count betrayed as one of them he has always been helpfull in the past but I understand he has to retpresent the feelings of his pledge. I look forward to being targeted next siege :(

Oh... and well done to SueSponte for getting to level 51... I know he has grafted hard in TOS and fully desrves it.

Lineage not hard enough? If you've done it all, and seen it all, you may think Lineage has nothing left to offer you. You'd quit and play a newer game if you could, but they either suck too much or your computer is 12 years old and you can't. So, you stand around town, punching the dwarf, complaining about how much life sucks, and reciting depressing poetry into pledge chat.

Little did you know there are an infinite number of new in-game challenges that await you! This guide presents a few of them, and perhaps will trigger your imagination to come up with more of your own. I like to suffix these game monikers with "man," in homage to the challenge games of roguelikes that preceded Lineage, but this doesn't mean females can't participate too.

Beta Man: The Beta Man (or .77 Man) refuses to acknowledge that Lineage had recieved any content updates since the public Beta test server days. He spends all of his time on TI, walks around unhasted, and carries 5 lesser healing potions "for emergencies." If Beta Man receives an item drop that didn't exist during the public Beta test, like a g-haste potion, he must discard it. Character stats must be applied randomly, perhaps by rolling a standard 6-sided dice to determine where each stat point should go.

Solipsist Man: An easy challenge game that simply involves never talking any ot
her players in the game, never joining a pledge, never party-hunting, and never trading or using player-run shops. Basically, you don't acknowledge the fact that other players even exist.

Silent Misanthropist Man: A variant of Solipsist Man, this challenge game is the same but with one additional rule. It states that whenever you see another player character, you must attack him and continue doing so until he escapes or one of you dies. If other characters walk into view while you are killing one, you must proceed immediately to the next nearest player and continue attacking after the first dies/venzes.

Naked Man: An easy to moderate challenge game (depending on class) that simply requires you to never equip an item, either armor or weapons. For mages, this isn't much of a challenge, but elves, DEs, and royals will have to rely mainly on low level attack spells like ebolt and pets. Knights will be stuck with pets and punching until they reach level 50.

Eternium Man: After game start, the eternium man procedes directory out of town and never returns. If he ever needs an item, he will have to kill monsters that drop it. Exactly what constitutes a "town" in Lineage is debatable, and varying purity levels of this challenge game are possible. Laxer rules would allow a character to buy items at the oasis and to learn spells at Gereng. A true purist will proceed directly to the nearest dungeon and spend the rest of his game there, never leaving (TI/MLC is a good choice here as they are connected and pots are purchasable at Orim). If an eternium man dies, the character must be deleted, since restarts occur in towns.

Pacifist Man: The pacifist will never personally harm a living creature. He carries no weapons and will only kill monsters by using the pet targeting feature. At game start, he will stand in town and beg until he receives someone's unwanted pet collar. Wearing armor and healing/buffing yourself and pet are allowed, as are any other actions that don't cause damage to monsters or other players. Zero damage attacks, like magic scrolls with non-damaging paralysis attacks, are allowed. This challenge won't work on live servers since your pets cannot be higher level than the character, and a pacifist will stay level 1 forever.

Monist Ontology Man: Among other things, the monist ontology man does not believe that macroscopic matter teleportation can exist. Therefore, all travel in game must be by foot or boat. This also means that certain places that are inaccessible by non-teleportation means are off-limits.

There are also an infinite number of self-imposed minor challenges. You could make yourself collect some arbitrary large number of furs, meats, or other items. You can force yourself to only wear bonesets or only use one normally ignored weapon, like clubs. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination!

How To Impersonate a Female in Lineage

As in most MMORPGs, being a player who is a member of the female gender bestows many benefits in Lineage, not least of which includes: always having a large selection of male players to group with, plentiful item and money handouts, and forgiveness for especially n00bish behavior that would result in ridicule were you male. Exploited to its fullest, Lineage as a female is a considerably easier gaming experience. But how can you, a player of male gender, cash in on these advantages? Certainly, it's hardly your fault that you happened to be born male. Life is so unfair!

Despair not, for with the many other wonders of the internet-access, you too now have access to the previously inaccessible wealth that is heterosexual male generosity. Fellow males that once wouldn't even stop farming long enough to say "Hi" to you will now dedicate a large quantity of their time to your latest item goals. Carefully study and follow these steps to a less masculine, but much richer, new you.

Step 1. First, confirm that you actually are male. To do so, simply remove your pants and inspect your reproductive organs. Consult your physician or biology instructor if you are confused by what you encounter here. If you discover that you are female, this is the only step you need, and you can just log into the game and be yourself. If the organs you possess are neither male nor female, you are probably a hermaphrodite or some other form of transgendered human, or you have been mauled in some disfiguring accident. While this guide is written for males, neuters and the androgenous can follow these steps as well.

Step 2. Next you'll need to get into the mindset that you are going to impersonate a female. Remember, girls don't log into games and say things like "y0 wHaZup mUh fUnk4y bRuV4Z!@#" Doing so will immediately blow your cover and you'll have to start over with a new character. You'll need to temporarily shelve your masculinity. Fill your thoughts with cute things, like plushie stuffed animals and bake sales. When in doubt about what a girl would say in a situation, just use some girlish filler text like "tee hee ur silly!" You should also read up on what interests girls have, so load up Myspace or another social site, and check the interests of a few girls. Take notes so you'll be able to answer any personal question cold in a convincing manner.

Step 3. Choose an archetype for your female persona. Are you an ultra-girly blonde-girl? A sports-playing alpha-female? A girl-next-door? Choose whichever you think you can pull off most effectively, just remember to stick with whatever choice you make. Come up with an outline for a life story, and fill in aspects of it as needed. Be sure to keep notes on what you tell males about yourself, since they may talk about you when not in your presence. It may seem more beneficial to tell each male exactly what they want to hear, but keeping track of which "you" you are at any given time is just setting yourself up for mistakes.

Step 4. You are now ready to begin exploiting the sexual frustration of your fellow males. Choose an obviously girlish name (like NoPanties or Twatica) and log into Lineage and just hang around a place with a lot of people milling about, and act sad and confused. In a few minutes, you'll have your first customer. You'll need to decide if each male that approaches you is best given a quick, drive-by milking, or added to your friends list as a long-term sugar-daddy.

Step 5. Get an online relationship. Your best bet is to find a male considerably higher level than you, but not so much that group hunting is impossible. Then, while farming together, proceed to die alot, whine about how weak you are, and make a lot of sad emoticons. Soon, your boyfriend will give you items and money to get up to his current ability, and will charge forward protecting you when you get mobbed. Let him do so, and comment on how strong and brave he is. Once you've surpassed your boyfriend's level/equipment, or at least come close, demote him back to the pool of males that you occasionally beg for favors from. Then repeat this process with a higher level new boyfriend.

Step 6. Taking it offline. This part is optional, but if a relationship you're in seems to be getting serious, and you have your eyes on some fine items in your boyfriend's possession that you just know he'll let you "temporarily" borrow soon, you can take your relationship to the next level. If he wants to call you on the phone, use a falsetto voice to impersonate a female. Effeminate males can crossdress for an in-person meeting. Just be sure to shave and use makeup to cover your male features. You'll also want to invest in a clothing article known as a "bra", which you can fill with something soft to complete the image. This is a risky activity, however, since the chance exists you'll wake up the following morning next to a sweaty, hairy, and probably obese Lineage player.

Tonight was the lamest of sieges ever... ever ever.

Erm 300/Pilimit rolled over and let SLM roll in take tower then give back to credance... I have posted a few screen shots of what happened :)

300 send a messenger... and a nice one as well I like Luck21 ^^

SLM bashed in the doors and walked straight up to the tower with no resistance at all.

SLM all teled away to guard the freshly repaired gate and left me all alone at the tower... Since Killg Ring was about as usless to mage as saying Hi to Fafu... I decided to wait and see what happened.

Yes they were 15 mins from time up pops Bella who must have felt like a rock star with so many SLM swarmed around her.... all that was mising was a motercade and a flock of US flags !!!

With angelBella taking the tower... SLM formed up and just watched 300/ Pilimit shoot there mouths off...

It seems there was trash talk from both sides..... this was not needed, save your handbags for when there is a propper siege !!!

As ever Betrayed was available for comment over global !!!

He proved he was either not able to or too lazy to defend a castle he faught hard for on Monday..... and he will have to do it all over again !!!!

Edit - Thankyou to Zyx for the wis. The reason that there was no defence was becuase PiLimit are mostly away for christmas and are going home to their families :D.

Congrats to Credance, however the victory goes to SLM who turned out in numbers and were extremly diciplined in there execution of there attack and defence of Giran even if there was an empty castle, they took no chances !!!

Lyz dropped by again and had this funny convo with Lyz.... he tried to pull the puppy dog eyes on Lyz but got sooo busted when Lyz pulled up the screen shots of the reasons why he got banned in the first place.

In addition to this There was another interesting conversation about bots... which our Hero GM has been spending more and more on.

I did not get the screens but Lyz went on to say that she will look at any list of bots that she recieves. She invited us to PM her..... She emphasised that this should not be used get get enemies banned !!!

If you are going to send a list of Bots in to Lyz then please please please concentrate on the real bots who cause the real issues... not past bots who now have masters !!!

4 days is a long time in lineage and it seems that silence once again decends on the wispers of Silver Radiance as 300 and PiLimit got there way and took Giran and IGG respectivly... Thank goodness as such good players should not be moaning like bitchness everytime the lose a fight :P

Non the Less I hear that few numbers and siege times when not many were on ensured the result was going only one way !!!

Well done to PiLimit and 300.... I look forward to a few more good fights ^^

We have a few familiar faces back in the pledge after an all too long absence... In particular I am pleased to welcome Conal back into the fold as rings clearly have enough 60+ tanks and do not need another one !!!!! .... me on the other hand could do with just such damage slave !! and boy is he a good one to have !!!

One of our first hunts was to Lasta Basement which was good fun apart from the mops there love to kick the hell out of heal masters..... first boss was Blaze !!!

Who we ended... Troje got the bag and said it contained 200adena !!!! typical.... shortly after we got kicked out of the room >.<

It was a great start to what I hope is prolonged spell in the pledge, what is rings loss is surley our gain. Since then conal has gone on to end Seers and Vampires with a lil help from our next arival.......... Drum Roll........

Sometimes you just get it wrong !!!

Running a column like this is hard work for a number of reasons....

- People do not like that you have taken the piss, finding a balance betweeen humour and griefing is tricky

-People feel that the the things you said were not accurate.

- Sometimes you follow a logical path which gives you an incorect solution !!!

The top 2 I am not too bothered about as I do things in good taste and always in humour !!! the final point however is a biggie.. with more and more people reading my blog it is important that everything I write is accurate.

I wrote a post abut a player in our pledge EvilMagii that we kicked out of our pledge for being a bot... we followed did some research then some more and the result was that we thought we had a bot in our pledge.

The reality is that some players have special circumstances, they could be foreign language speakers who can barley scrape together Hi or a smile. They could be disasbled and have mental slowness, they could just be so damn wasted that he is in his own little world....

We all have differnt reasons for playing Lineage, for some it something that makes them smile and takes them away from things in real life.... I have to imagaine if I logged in only to get a message that my account had been de-activated for failure to meet terms of play... how would I feel !!!

Evilmagii is not a bot...... and I got it wrong ... very wrong !!!

Several people in pledge know him in real life and he just has some personal circumstances for not answering.... that does not mean the wis I got wrong because it was a good call ^^. It does not mean that we did not have evidence to support him being a bot... the fact is that despite all of this I still made the wrong choice !!!

Spare a thought for the monitors as this is a situation they face every day !!!!

Tonight saw a fantastic seige between the powers that be on Ken server...IIIIII'nnn the red corner...

I was catching up on some exp loss after chief mermaid showed me who was boss when global came to life and stated that Credance alliance had won the fight against PiLimit alliance.... There was cheering on Global and all of a sudden Giran was packed full of PiLimeveryone stopped what they were doing and came to watch.... then everyone started picking sides :D..... then...... we had a seige !!!

When I first arrived I was expecting a hostile reception... which I kind of got, not helped by some dodgy intel (Thanks for that !!)

Credance were superior in numbers with around 50ish defenders and PiLimit had only 20-25... yet they broke through and busted up the tower pretty good.

Credance were well organised with a strong line of tanks and after some desperate defending someone called the order for a tower switch :D..... (A very good move!!). The tower would be repaired but everyone would be booted out and it would be a mad dash back to the tower.....

The risk worked as the defenders ran to tower and amassed in far greater numbers with a lot more organisation... They broke the line at the main gate but there was no way through to the tower for PiLimt who came.... and came... and came relentlessly !!

They were faced with overwealming numbers and could not find a way through... slowly but surley Credance pressed, pegging them at the front gate. But PiLimit would not stop.... Speakers and 037 (PiLimit) were fearsome tanks taking many many players to stop them.

As the seige went on Credance became more and more organised and I think it is safe to say that the differnce between a win and a loss was the organisation of a large group of 10 elfs who worked as a unit to provide extra firepower for the tanks who were mercilisly smacked around by PiLimit !!!

Not to be outdone the tanks pressed and presssed to secure the front gate repelling wave after wave of attacks... The pack of Credance,SLM,RING and MUT tanks were not letting anything through !!

Eventually they pressed them far enough to regain the main gate and then they started to pick them off as they took the fight to PiLimit...

That marked the end of a frantic seige which was a best totally biased towards Credance, with greater numbers PiLimit might have had a chance and still caused problems with considerbly few numbers.... Credance/SLM/Rings/MUT were well organised, have some really strong players and worked togther so deserved there hard fort victory...

There were a number of deaths from 300 (did not get screenshots!!) but the best 2 are below!!!!..... both at the end of the seige when no exp is lost ^^

Nami got ended for going camping at the back of the seige... (lol!)

Edit - He later confirmed he did not want to use pots so instead of tele he let himself die ( he wanted to make sure that this blog this factual !!... and it is) consider the post amended !!

The one thing I really like about Lyz is that she always makes time for a lil chat.

I want to put together some event bit and peices and will be convessing the server for +10 weapons and +9/10 armours and I will see if Lyz cn get them posted again :D.

After my last post about Justi (Justifier)... I was told by pledge that I was lucky not to get a kick/Ban... strange then that the next person to kicked was not me :)

I was hunting seeds in new bot central.... the lawful temple in Kent (SKT4 must have had the decorators in) when I saw on global

" Could Joe please wis me "

Now normally I jump at the chance to be popular.... only to find that it was another Joe they were after and I look stupid (lol!) so I waited for a while before replying.

He asked me if a pledge member was answering in pledge chat.... and as soon as he asked that I knew what he was asking !!!

So I went invis and followed him about for a bit and he looked a lil suss. He would not talk, however I did have fun with his auto-reply.... this is what the conversation was

Joe: How is your hunt going
Bot: :)

This wreaked of auto-bot... I followed it up with some buffs

AS ..... I get a reply "ty"

Last week I posted about OIN being grumpy with me... I returned back from a lovely weekend with my g/f to find Oin was being nice again.... I like Oin I think he is a good player, but he was a big meany last week !!

He came over to our pledge house and said how nicely decorated it was..... he even laughed at one of my jokes !!!

I still don't know why OIN was mad at me so I have a theory.... I suspect that it was OIN's time of the month..... So I will be sure to stay away from FV beech the final week of each month incase he gets the hump again.

Be sure to look out for the following syptoms:

- Being grumpy
- Using his \accuse function more then once a minute
- Moaning about the DKS nerf
- Moaning some more about DKS nerf...

I was pottering around and saw in global that 037 had made a +5 demon axe... after the normal round of "LIES!!" he had actually made a +5 weapon.

Shortly after I told him it was useless due to loss of shield and damn aweful swing speed on 2-handed weapons.

After that he said that he was going to try for +7 o.o..... it did not quite work out but we do have Ken servers first +6 Demon Axe.

Congrats to Noob for making such a hot weapon !!!.... when you find out what to use it for please let me know (lol!)

Today was a really funny day,,, the following happened....

1. Continued my new exp serge with getting 5% a day when I am am around. New TOS is awesome, even with the bots who tele as soon as they see someone.... Still it's good enough to get passed monitor.... it's like holding your hands over you face and saying to everyone " I'm invisible, noone can see me" !!!

Monitor: " Right I will find one of these so called bots, I never seen one before. I wonder if they have yellow and orange polka dots... like the ones I see on holiday..... I wish I was on holiday.... damn I was doing something... now what was it !!!! "

**Monitor hears random tele wooshing noise**

Monitor: "that could be a bot I should go and check... that noise sounds just like the doors in star trek *does door impression, swooosh*... I like star trek. 2. Confirmed that OIN hates me... but I am not sure why ?

I went to visit orc fort seige in COI and called me a mean name when he I have him AS and gave away my position (Hiding in the bush's).

I am sure I will find out why one day, my only guess is that he is like a woman who has the hump and I just have to cycle through all of the possible reasons until I get it right *sigh* !!!

I am just waiting for him to say " you should know what you have done wrong" or " I should not have to tell you"

3. After a great DI hunt with Synyster I wen to talk to Alfonso the bum... who gave me some good news... I finally got level 1 karma !!!

A huge thankyou to SK8 who walked me to the place I need to get my earing.

As I thanked SK8 for taking time out to help me he mentioned it was no problem as he was hunting with Gen on 51f.... it is creepy that he had been having a conversation with me like normal and all this time he was hunting on another char on 51f.... I die on that floor concentrating on 1 screen !!!

I am so Envious... CJ is there any more room in that club !!!

This evening was really weird, 250 people on and noone about.... still had no problem cleaning up 7 pumpkins with 2 swords 1 armour 3 b-zels and2 b-dai's.... how anyone can complain about this event is beyond me.... unless of course your brought a stock load of ala's that are now worthless !!

Lyz dropped by again on our server and purched nicley next to the pumpkin guy.... it was only a short stop for her. She was her usual excitable self ^^

But I wanted to ask her something that is still an issue and something that could dramaticly effect the server.... inferno's ???

I did not get the screen's however she went on to say that it is still up for discussion and that any solution would not be a good solution for everyone.

I then showed lyzira my inferno who I had recently been trained to do "puppy dog eyes"for just such an occasion... and said please do not reduce the effectivness, inferno's need love too ^^

She laughed then had to dash off !!

I started off this event a day late, but logged in and found a rather nice spot to hunt these "turkeys"... before long I was swimming in seeds... when people logged on I gloated heavily about having 12-15 gold pumpkins in just a few hours.... but then this happened !!!

I suppose you can liken being "pimp slapped" by Troje to being tea bagged by Doel..... the result for me was dissasterous....

- Babo's invaded my 2 hunting areas... lots of them !!!

- My drops suddenly dissapeared... I can only think think this is some sort of tax for being Troje's "whoare" !!! this was further confirmed when everyone else's drops got better :(

It was really strange as one half of the day drops were great then all over global people were complaing about empty mops for the second half .... there are 2 explanations for this

1. NC forgot to mark the rex's as boss mops and incorrectly labeled them as normal mops... the difference being that drops for bosses are zero or junk where as normal mops drop what there are supposed too !!!!!

2. Troje has been a busy boy and has pimp slapped most of the server !!!

After an excellent morning of hunting I got the +8 pumpkin armour..... wohoot !!

However my joy was short lived when I realised that the armour is non transferbale and wanted the armour for my elf not for my mage !!! Grrr

I am now trying to get the weapon to +8 and have not even got as far as a +7 yet :(((... popped 6 so far !!!

Lyzira visited us again and it looks like there will be more spawn through out today. I can't help but like Lyzira and she does what she says, however I can't help but remember something Dakeebler elf said that rings so so true...

Soooo Ep6... the story so far

Hello everyone after doinf my round of blog reading.... CJ's being my favorite (the rest are just bling blogs) I am starting to see how frustrated people are getting with being that litte bit weaker. I thought to myself, how has the update effected me.

Well I cannot priase it enough..... the things I love

- Seeds/bear meat are a pain to get. You might think that this is a bad thing, and it is if you high level and you have mollycuddled by nc. For lower players it is great, decent exp in the crystal caves means I get about 15 fungus and 3-5 seeds an hour just for leveling my knight .... awesome.

- Ok elfs.... pretty simple stuff your not meant to melee, hit and run... hit and run.... if you don't you will soon realise what 51 is like on a mage now !!! *poof* crumpled up mage !!! What I like about elfs being weaker for me personally is that elfs who loved to hunt alone now want to hunt in groups. And I really really enjoyed hunting with Corro for the first time ever :D, and that was totally cool.

- Mages seems to be in more demand in the new Epesode mainly becuase there are less about at the moment. Which means I get the opportunity to take part in some boss hunts... which is soooo much fun, but I also get to meet and talk with people from other pledges. E.g ZWarlordZ who was very patient with me ( Thankyou). It also seems that since getting to level 50 my main reward has been a damage slave(Not War), and it seems I have a new mentor ^^ !!!

- New TOS.... wow ok I did 2 times runs on mage with one AS cast.... 1.04% and 1.02% per hour. I am con/wis mage with 16 int base. I TU in Tos and try and make as much time to BW people as possible on my way round. With high MR the erupts and fireballs they cast do not hurt much !!. I make 5% a day if I get my head down and grind... that is awesome. If I was con/int I would be making such much more an hour !!!!

I think that there is a way to get at least 2% an hour (for a con/wis mage) that I am exploring at the moment, which I am quite excited about and again I get to hunt with new guys for it.

- Bugbear Doll..... wow how cute are the b/b dolls. They draw little hearts on the ground and snuggle on there blankey !! Best thing about BB dolls is that they are not that fast which means I can follow them in the haunted house.... it is honestly the only way I can win !!!

- New bosses.... There are loads of new bosses which means that the bosses tend to be less camped then before.

- More toys being chucked out of the pram... I love the whole credance, SLM, Rings alliance. It is only a matter of time before greed gets in the way and people start declaring on each other... pre Ep 6 same pledges has the castles.... now they change hands from time to time and I love it when people post end photo's at seiges !!!

These are just a few of the great things in Ep6... which turns out to be a noob update !! soft ac is back and it is about time, maybe people will realise who hard it was for a mage to level in DV/FV in the earlier days with about half the ac that is available now. My mage with an ac set on is just about at 7x ac and I find that if I grab a friend I can still hunt with my +9 smacker... just not in lasta that it now crazy hard.... rumour has it though that there is a new place the AS drops !!!

With the event coming up it was nice to catch up with our community coordinator and have a few jokes and see if I could find out anything about the event... well I could'nt becuase Lyz was answering my questions in global >.< But she really seems to enjoy her role and her passion and excitment about everything is endearing !!!

Troje is still her favorite though :P.... after she took him away to a secret location for a moment !!

Lyz also told us taht they are working on several fixs and trying to create more pet match arena's which is all great news :o)

Since everyone has a doll and I have been a hermit in New Tos I have not really had time to concentrate on the new things Ep 6 has brought us.... I mean apart from the ability to burn money twiuce as quick !!!

I am talking about going to the pet match were I can.....

a.) Get frowned upon for using an inferno..... I even got called a cheat !!! ( You lazy bum get off your arse and raise 20m yourself and get one !!!)

b.) use my Doom lizard and get the same responce every time

Berrie of course >.<..... I am so god damn useless at the haunted house it is unbelievable and seems my pledge friends are not much better. I have entered about 75 races and won 3 of them !!! .... but then this happened Yes I never need to go near that damn haunted house again !!!

Double EXP weekend Draws to an end!!!

Loads of people grindding for experience and found that nearly everyone who hunted the new TOS area with me leveled up. Ep 6 brought some real challanges to the game for mages and elfs, however this new area is awesome.

I tried to take screen shots of everyone who leveled and I spoke with Lyz this eveneing about posting them on the main webpage or getting something together to put on the web page.... fingers crossed :D

I also want to say Congratulations to Rosegarde and to the rest of SLM as well as MUT who were have leveled up. Unfortunatly I could not get screen shots of them as they struggled to understand what I wanted to happen >.<

The Big 50 !!!

I finally made it to lev 50 on Monday... just after Troje anounced that 55 is the new 50 and 50 is easy to get too on global.... Cheers Troje :P

Milla, Conal and a host of others stayed up to spur me on. I like to think this is becuase they were being supportive and motivating, however I later found out that they were tired and thought I was being lazy ha ha !!!

I really want to say that my pledge have helped me enormously, especially when I came back from my long absence.

Millamare has been awesome and is always on hand to help me out. She has been full of great advise which like all royals know gets totally ignored... until I die, at which point she has great joy in saying I told you so....... FI anyone ?

Corronis is a legend and has been a great mentor. I owe this guy so many favours !! He has been instgrumental in my developement. He is a master at quests and is the first port of call for a price check :D and to boot he is a lovely guy who has been supprisingly patient with me..... oh and he also likes to say I told you so (lol!!)

Mersia is a hugly skillfull mage and a player I look up too.... His generosity left me stunned and have always felt that until I got to level 50+ Mersia would be dissapointed. I hope that he is proud of me :)

I also want to say Thankyou to NoobMage, DivineLight, Genuine, Darkspells, 1984 for the never ending supply of AS !!!! you guys are great :D !!!

I wondered if half way through lev 49 I was half way from hell.... however as Troje and IceHwk Pointed out the hell does'nt end until lev 52 !!!! Happy days !!! :D

Well the double exp event was finally over.... or should I say that NC has finally ben kind enough to release us from it. I managed to peel myself off my chair without any lasting damage to my body !!!

I love events, it does not matter if they are double exp, Double drop or both.

Talking of which during my conversation wih Lyzira earlier in the week she heavily hinted at another event of some kind, which she duely confirmed today when she dropped by again.... wohoot !!!

Millamare is UBER !!! after Fridays and Saterdays heroics she got to lev 51 in the early evening leaving me trailing in her wake a massive 15% behind at 85%..... I simply got blown away !!!

The announcment went out and Milla got a huge responce from server :D... this is not all of them it went on for like 5 mins ^^.

....... but then this..... Priceless !!!

Following the fanfare Milla got I found myself getting frustrated as progress seemed to be getting slower due to the sheer volume of people hunting (especially bows elfs) ........... where do they hide ??? do people just lock then up in the cupboard under the stairs and only bring them out for events, it certainly felt like it. So many times I wanted to shout

"More Bow elfs please I found a mop without any arrows in !!!"

However what was really nice was that it was the same people doing shifts a set in the day and a set in the night.... and some like me who were working double shifts ( See updated bot watch !!). Most people did not mop steal and when they did appolgised.... it happens from time to time and want to say thankyou for putting up with my doze leveling.

** This is when I am so sleepy I just see mops.... nothing but mops and do not see the elf standing next to it stuffing it with arrows >.< **

Sometimes it was just plain embaressing !!! Sorry guys :)

First Doll on the sever

Not only was Zyxial the first person to get a cute doll.... but managed to pull a warewolf out of the random pile which I am sure will do very nicley.

The Doll does a nice little animation when it activates (in this case delivering 3% more damage). It was doing it quite often abut 1 every 8-10 swings.... which is quite nice !!

With the forums being filled with sightings of bots botting the pet match, then botting the fishing.... and now the haunted house it is only a matter of time until we find out what price they pull out of there arse to charge us for the dolls.

Well done Zyxial for being the first on Ken to get a doll :D

Well we are at the half way point through the event and everyone has got there head down to do some grinding... New TOS was totally heaving with at least 20-25 people in at any one time. I can fully understandwhy at 0.017% a pop !!

For my sins of going to see James bond Milla put in a long shift on Friday night and pulled something quite special out of the bag. I got greeted by Corro announcing that Milla had gone from 60% to almost 75% in one evening.... Awesome effort.

This was followed up tonight with an equally strong finish on 89% tonight leaving milla coasting to level 51 tommorow.... and fair play to her becuas she has risen to the challange.

I managed to get to 75% today making it doubtful I will be Level 50 this weekend, however monday is looking very good... I have until 2pm GMT go go go !!!

I want to make posts about all the people that have leveled up during the event, so please drop me a mail in game.

Some of these people in the picture above are hard working players who are hoping that whilst they are asleep somewill buy there items so when they come back they have a litle extra pot money... or if your lucky enough to have a (???) for 90m then I would call it a little more then extra pot money. ^^

Some of these people in this picture are bots... they are known bots and provide us with day to day resources.... they are however still cheats. There are 2 ways of cheating, in my eyes one is worse then the other but a cheat is a cheat. These 2 ways are

* Auto Hunt - This allows people to gain high levels very quickly with no skill. A lot of high level players do it honestly ( some almost honestly!!)

* Buying Adena - This is the one I have less of a problem with mainly because you can use this to give your self a little leg up to get yourself set up and could make the game more enjoyable for new players..... the fact is though that those days spent as a noob are character building and add to the game expeience..... Anyone who was a propper noober will know TI/DVC/SKT/Mainland caves quite well.

At the end of the day though it is cheating as we all work hard to get 20m yet someone can just click a button and get 50m with little or no effort.... once again it is not fair on honest players.

We have all seen bots, we can all name some bots and yet for me I don't care that much ( I love the way bots create fast spawn!!).... however I am dissapointed when it is an in game friend, player you respected or maybe someone even closer to home.

Unfortunatly i have one such in game friend.... and it is a real shame !!!

Go Go Weekend Event

This Weekend is the Haloween weekend event that will see us franticly pack into New TOS/Old TOS... or in SKT hunting kubolds becuase lag will be so bad !!!

** Just remember guys that with so many elfs and mages about in Old Tos and the occasional accidental mop steal might happen, just bear with it.... it will balance out for you in the end :o). **

After Milla repeatly saying that independence day is rubbish and the plot crap and the effects outdated... she lasted about 25 mins before being sucked in by Will Smiths charms. The result is that come into the event I am on level pegging with Milla.

I will give her a head start as I am off to watch the new James Bond Movie tonight and overhear everyone saying how hot Daniel Craig is.... I am left wondering how a female tailored version of Baywatch gets such great reviews !!!!

.... Does he always have to go into the water ??? (lol!)

On a personal note I will be so pleased when Milla hits 51 ... just not before I turn 50 :P

After getting robbed of 2% last night I still managed to hit my 50% target with a few hours of the night still to try and push for 55%...

Milla Babo is at 58% now.... but the gap is closing fast. I have now made 27% since the update and the first day of that was spend moaning like a 4 year at soending 1 hour wondering around PI and 1 hour around diad trying to find NPC's.

NC are looking at refunding exp for "verified" lag deaths due to NC.... this is totally cool and would be a great way to stop me having to go through the following after death....

First 15 mins (Pissed off )

This may lead to caps lock on or accidentily being flicked on and off through my typing due to anger..... I will eiother shout in pledge chat then global or just pledge chat..... I love my pledge they put up with so much !!!

This also leads to broken sentences likes [ OMG stupid _____ Lag, why do I both with this ____ !]

Should it be a lag death and not full on DC (rare)... I will often in a mad panic shout on global begging and pleading for g-res.... this often esculates rather embaressingly to open bribery !!

Following 10 mins (Irritable)

This phase is often spent roaming around giran and in GTV were I can curse the greedy bot prices and wonder why everyone is purposly hoarding the stuff I need to buy.

There may be the occasional outburst [ God Damn another hour stalking dead things ]

final 5 mins (sulky)

I send these last 5 mins feeling parnoid as to weather it is safe to hunt. And watch intentitly to global for key words

" _____ NC" (this is a dead give away for exp loss)
"Spike"
".... Anyone d/c "

I love episode 6 it means that should any key word trigger I can go fishing or annoy people with my inferno during pet match !!!

It appears my Bot speaking friend in TOS is getting fed up of me stealing his mops....

So I would like to appologise for stealing your mops.... I understand that TOS in it's enitirety is yours and that all mops on the screen are yours including the 4 on you the 3 on the other side of the screen and the 2 on the outskirts firing at you from distance.

It was my mistake... becuase TOS has a total lack of MOPS and the spawn rate is poor, really my appologies !!!

I also understand that by stealing your mops you are missing out on the plentiful drops that TOS has to offer...

Watch out the bots have added new features to the existing auto hunt, auto buff, auto venz, auto reply.....

They now have auto moan !!!

You have been warned !!

I am in the hunt for lev 50 which seemed to be going very well.... I was just about to finish of 45% for the evening. Which would have capped a great 5% exp day for me and kept me hot on the heals of milla who is at 56%..... but then !!!

with only 0.0072 left to get before I go to bed I lag for 10 seconds + and die.... worse still a mage come up to me. I say " Could you G-res me please" he said sure. So up pop's that familiar screen res screen, and I am thinking ah not too bad getting half or 2/3 back is not all that bad... BOOM...

NORMAL RES, what an idiot !!! I mean really !!! why bother.

Then I set about chasing my lost 1%..... only for another lag to happen 30 mins later.... and another 1% gone

43.23% tonight and I go to bed knowing I have a mountain to climb in order to get to 50% by this time tommorow.... !!!

NC I love your stable servers !!! ..... and even if it is my isp that does'nt make me feel any better !!!

With the mops in new TOS area being quite high ac- wise it never hurts for mages to Bless weapon when they see a player as you know that they will need it... even +8 mail breaker misses from time to time ^^.

So mages..... when you run by an elf with an animal farm in toe with them just give them a quick buff, it makes all the difference :D

Especially Millamare who is joining me on a grind to the next level.... Milla is at 50.52 and is gunning for level 51 by the end of the event.... I am at 49.36 and I am sure I can beat her to the next level.... the race is on.

Our new community support gal has been making time for us recently and dropping in to listen
to our feedback on the live server. What she actually gets is Troje, DarkSpells and DivineLight calling each other Babo's and noobs for a few hours... but I am sure it is fun for her as well though (lol!)

I am sure NC hear our concerns, however the only way they have found to get things moving again is to use korean mirror, which means things are going to stay broadly as they are.

She dropped in whilst I was regen in the Inn and sounded very excited about the coming months... Sounds good to me :D

US-NC now need to sanction from NC Korea to make changes which is a lengthy process, however this will ensure that episodes are more easily ported from korea.... which leads to more frequent updates.

The changes are not all that bad, just means to got to bring a friend along to get bosses :o)

I also talked to Lyz about the game guides and they are reluctant to publish drop rates of quest guides as they do not want to ruin the game experience.... They have however given maps to Stub who will be updating to lineagedb sometime this week.

... I will still get lost though :\

New TOS area

(notice the island to the right, there is nothing special on it thus far but could be another extra room for some hunting ^^)

I am in the midst of finding the best way to level in new TOS area seeing as I am very low int and not able to melee...

There are several ways that TOS can be hunted effectivly as a mage these are

- Use a hunters bow and decent con pet or summons ( I found it easier to hit with bow then with weapon). I use 2 inferno's, however I see quite a few st bernards, wolfs and huskys. This area is awesome for leveling pets once they get to about 15+.

- Use a +8 Mail breaker and pets, beware though the mops wiull turn pretty fast this way.

- Equip int equipment the book and the necklace and do mini sprints.... no need to buff just MR up haste and go... TU any mops that chuck stuff at you from long range and ignore the rest as I found these to be the easier one to turn.

Go in blow all you mp as fast as possible then tele back to pledge house, use npc in house to send you to storage then run to inn.... 2 min regen use ROTC to tele out and repeat.

I have noticed that there is a differnce between night and day, some people said it was not noticable on 51f..... but you can here ^^ !

During the day you will get about 0.05% to 0.1% per run... maybe more ^^

Since update I have made 15% which is good exp at level 49.

Right... a little bit about my char...

Firstly I started playing lin in the epesodes before heine at a time that many will remember as fun times... but also tough times with soft ac and twins that were feared.

Not to mention you could heal DK using the very same bug that th recent update has o.o !!

I use to be in "silent" pledge and had many a fun war against designer dragons.

My char is a Lev 49 18 con, 18 wis mage and also have a noober elf and knight. This blog is unlikley to be as exciting as the enchant scroll confetti posted on other blogs but it an insight into the tough world of a being a noob.

I am part of Silver Radiance Pledge which is headed up by Justifier, however until recently was run by Millamare :)
