Interesting times

Today was a really funny day,,, the following happened....

1. Continued my new exp serge with getting 5% a day when I am am around. New TOS is awesome, even with the bots who tele as soon as they see someone.... Still it's good enough to get passed monitor.... it's like holding your hands over you face and saying to everyone " I'm invisible, noone can see me" !!!

Monitor: " Right I will find one of these so called bots, I never seen one before. I wonder if they have yellow and orange polka dots... like the ones I see on holiday..... I wish I was on holiday.... damn I was doing something... now what was it !!!! "

**Walks past RSX bot**

RSX-Bot: "Nobody here"

**Monitor hears random tele wooshing noise**

Monitor: "that could be a bot I should go and check... that noise sounds just like the doors in star trek *does door impression, swooosh*... I like star trek. I think that captain picard is very handsom and the android guy looks so human, but everyone knows he is an android in real life !!.... Ahhhh time for lunch break, Damn still no Bots..."

2. Confirmed that OIN hates me... but I am not sure why ?

I went to visit orc fort seige in COI and called me a mean name when he I have him AS and gave away my position (Hiding in the bush's).

I am sure I will find out why one day, my only guess is that he is like a woman who has the hump and I just have to cycle through all of the possible reasons until I get it right *sigh* !!!

I am just waiting for him to say " you should know what you have done wrong" or " I should not have to tell you"

3. After a great DI hunt with Synyster I wen to talk to Alfonso the bum... who gave me some good news... I finally got level 1 karma !!!





A huge thankyou to SK8 who walked me to the place I need to get my earing.

As I thanked SK8 for taking time out to help me he mentioned it was no problem as he was hunting with Gen on 51f.... it is creepy that he had been having a conversation with me like normal and all this time he was hunting on another char on 51f.... I die on that floor concentrating on 1 screen !!!

I am so Envious... CJ is there any more room in that club !!!

This evening was really weird, 250 people on and noone about.... still had no problem cleaning up 7 pumpkins with 2 swords 1 armour 3 b-zels and2 b-dai's.... how anyone can complain about this event is beyond me.... unless of course your brought a stock load of ala's that are now worthless !!

Well you all know Justi....

- Hates hunting without pets.... sorry just hates hunting !!!

Well..... yesterday night he was talking all sorts of filth !!! He said he was hunting.... I told him swearing like that is just not right, this is a game for children as well !!!

Then *BANG*.... thinking that Justi had somehow reached through my monitor and hit me for all the abuse he gets.... but noooo something worse

Justi said he was hunting.... without pets..... I fell of my chair and smacked my head !!! such was the shock and surprise !!

Milla likes to stalk our drops... and lets face it it is nice to know that your friends drops sucks as much as yours !!! so we form up a large party and the drops scroll down (It is very fun!!) with this in mind I was just about to swell with pride for my war torn prince who has battled back from being 49.10 to 49.22 recently.... Yes people from Dep and LOA Lyz does love us more !!!

Lyz dropped by again on our server and purched nicley next to the pumpkin guy.... it was only a short stop for her. She was her usual excitable self ^^

But I wanted to ask her something that is still an issue and something that could dramaticly effect the server.... inferno's ???


I did not get the screen's however she went on to say that it is still up for discussion and that any solution would not be a good solution for everyone.

I then showed lyzira my inferno who I had recently been trained to do "puppy dog eyes"for just such an occasion... and said please do not reduce the effectivness, inferno's need love too ^^

She laughed then had to dash off !!

I started off this event a day late, but logged in and found a rather nice spot to hunt these "turkeys"... before long I was swimming in seeds... when people logged on I gloated heavily about having 12-15 gold pumpkins in just a few hours.... but then this happened !!!


I suppose you can liken being "pimp slapped" by Troje to being tea bagged by Doel..... the result for me was dissasterous....

- Babo's invaded my 2 hunting areas... lots of them !!!

- My drops suddenly dissapeared... I can only think think this is some sort of tax for being Troje's "whoare" !!! this was further confirmed when everyone else's drops got better :(

It was really strange as one half of the day drops were great then all over global people were complaing about empty mops for the second half .... there are 2 explanations for this

1. NC forgot to mark the rex's as boss mops and incorrectly labeled them as normal mops... the difference being that drops for bosses are zero or junk where as normal mops drop what there are supposed too !!!!!

2. Troje has been a busy boy and has pimp slapped most of the server !!!

After an excellent morning of hunting I got the +8 pumpkin armour..... wohoot !!



However my joy was short lived when I realised that the armour is non transferbale and wanted the armour for my elf not for my mage !!! Grrr

I am now trying to get the weapon to +8 and have not even got as far as a +7 yet :(((... popped 6 so far !!!

Lyzira visited us again and it looks like there will be more spawn through out today. I can't help but like Lyzira and she does what she says, however I can't help but remember something Dakeebler elf said that rings so so true...

Soooo Ep6... the story so far

Hello everyone after doinf my round of blog reading.... CJ's being my favorite (the rest are just bling blogs) I am starting to see how frustrated people are getting with being that litte bit weaker. I thought to myself, how has the update effected me.

Well I cannot priase it enough..... the things I love

- Seeds/bear meat are a pain to get. You might think that this is a bad thing, and it is if you high level and you have mollycuddled by nc. For lower players it is great, decent exp in the crystal caves means I get about 15 fungus and 3-5 seeds an hour just for leveling my knight .... awesome.

- Ok elfs.... pretty simple stuff your not meant to melee, hit and run... hit and run.... if you don't you will soon realise what 51 is like on a mage now !!! *poof* crumpled up mage !!! What I like about elfs being weaker for me personally is that elfs who loved to hunt alone now want to hunt in groups. And I really really enjoyed hunting with Corro for the first time ever :D, and that was totally cool.

- Mages seems to be in more demand in the new Epesode mainly becuase there are less about at the moment. Which means I get the opportunity to take part in some boss hunts... which is soooo much fun, but I also get to meet and talk with people from other pledges. E.g ZWarlordZ who was very patient with me ( Thankyou). It also seems that since getting to level 50 my main reward has been a damage slave(Not War), and it seems I have a new mentor ^^ !!!

- New TOS.... wow ok I did 2 times runs on mage with one AS cast.... 1.04% and 1.02% per hour. I am con/wis mage with 16 int base. I TU in Tos and try and make as much time to BW people as possible on my way round. With high MR the erupts and fireballs they cast do not hurt much !!. I make 5% a day if I get my head down and grind... that is awesome. If I was con/int I would be making such much more an hour !!!!

I think that there is a way to get at least 2% an hour (for a con/wis mage) that I am exploring at the moment, which I am quite excited about and again I get to hunt with new guys for it.

- Bugbear Doll..... wow how cute are the b/b dolls. They draw little hearts on the ground and snuggle on there blankey !! Best thing about BB dolls is that they are not that fast which means I can follow them in the haunted house.... it is honestly the only way I can win !!!

- New bosses.... There are loads of new bosses which means that the bosses tend to be less camped then before.

- More toys being chucked out of the pram... I love the whole credance, SLM, Rings alliance. It is only a matter of time before greed gets in the way and people start declaring on each other... pre Ep 6 same pledges has the castles.... now they change hands from time to time and I love it when people post end photo's at seiges !!!

These are just a few of the great things in Ep6... which turns out to be a noob update !! soft ac is back and it is about time, maybe people will realise who hard it was for a mage to level in DV/FV in the earlier days with about half the ac that is available now. My mage with an ac set on is just about at 7x ac and I find that if I grab a friend I can still hunt with my +9 smacker... just not in lasta that it now crazy hard.... rumour has it though that there is a new place the AS drops !!!

With the event coming up it was nice to catch up with our community coordinator and have a few jokes and see if I could find out anything about the event... well I could'nt becuase Lyz was answering my questions in global >.< But she really seems to enjoy her role and her passion and excitment about everything is endearing !!!



Troje is still her favorite though :P.... after she took him away to a secret location for a moment !!

Lyz also told us taht they are working on several fixs and trying to create more pet match arena's which is all great news :o)

Pledge hunt in Gludio

Since everyone has a doll and I have been a hermit in New Tos I have not really had time to concentrate on the new things Ep 6 has brought us.... I mean apart from the ability to burn money twiuce as quick !!!

I am talking about going to the pet match were I can.....

a.) Get frowned upon for using an inferno..... I even got called a cheat !!! ( You lazy bum get off your arse and raise 20m yourself and get one !!!)

b.) use my Doom lizard and get the same responce every time

..................Then we have the haunted house which had no less then 7 SR members in and 1 other player called Berrie.... Guess who won most of them !!!



Berrie of course >.<..... I am so god damn useless at the haunted house it is unbelievable and seems my pledge friends are not much better. I have entered about 75 races and won 3 of them !!! .... but then this happened Yes I never need to go near that damn haunted house again !!!

I will not be around this week as I am seeing my g/f and going to a huge firework display tonight.... although there is an internet cafe. I might see if I can sneak a certain program on and see how I get on.

Sods law though that my shop is still set up on home copmuter and I will not be able to get on. Hang on a minute I am asuming that there will be no d/c in a 24 hour period, no fears there then !!!!

*** Event Bot Watch ***

It is only a matter of time before the discussion of why exp events are bad begins and the arguments that bots use the event to further extend levels on there chars beyond reasonble means !!

Which brings me to BOT WATCH !!!!

I have said before bots have some advantages to the lineage environment !!! but most bots have the sense not to use there auto reply to moan !!!

Double EXP weekend Draws to an end!!!

Loads of people grindding for experience and found that nearly everyone who hunted the new TOS area with me leveled up. Ep 6 brought some real challanges to the game for mages and elfs, however this new area is awesome.

I tried to take screen shots of everyone who leveled and I spoke with Lyz this eveneing about posting them on the main webpage or getting something together to put on the web page.... fingers crossed :D

I also want to say Congratulations to Rosegarde and to the rest of SLM as well as MUT who were have leveled up. Unfortunatly I could not get screen shots of them as they struggled to understand what I wanted to happen >.<

Language barriers can be a real pain :(

The Big 50 !!!

I finally made it to lev 50 on Monday... just after Troje anounced that 55 is the new 50 and 50 is easy to get too on global.... Cheers Troje :P

Milla, Conal and a host of others stayed up to spur me on. I like to think this is becuase they were being supportive and motivating, however I later found out that they were tired and thought I was being lazy ha ha !!!

I really want to say that my pledge have helped me enormously, especially when I came back from my long absence.

Millamare has been awesome and is always on hand to help me out. She has been full of great advise which like all royals know gets totally ignored... until I die, at which point she has great joy in saying I told you so....... FI anyone ?

Corronis is a legend and has been a great mentor. I owe this guy so many favours !! He has been instgrumental in my developement. He is a master at quests and is the first port of call for a price check :D and to boot he is a lovely guy who has been supprisingly patient with me..... oh and he also likes to say I told you so (lol!!)

Mersia is a hugly skillfull mage and a player I look up too.... His generosity left me stunned and have always felt that until I got to level 50+ Mersia would be dissapointed. I hope that he is proud of me :)

I also want to say Thankyou to NoobMage, DivineLight, Genuine, Darkspells, 1984 for the never ending supply of AS !!!! you guys are great :D !!!

I wondered if half way through lev 49 I was half way from hell.... however as Troje and IceHwk Pointed out the hell does'nt end until lev 52 !!!! Happy days !!! :D

Just..... ONE.............. More...................... MOP !!!!

Well the double exp event was finally over.... or should I say that NC has finally ben kind enough to release us from it. I managed to peel myself off my chair without any lasting damage to my body !!!

I love events, it does not matter if they are double exp, Double drop or both.

Talking of which during my conversation wih Lyzira earlier in the week she heavily hinted at another event of some kind, which she duely confirmed today when she dropped by again.... wohoot !!!

Millamare is UBER !!! after Fridays and Saterdays heroics she got to lev 51 in the early evening leaving me trailing in her wake a massive 15% behind at 85%..... I simply got blown away !!!

The announcment went out and Milla got a huge responce from server :D... this is not all of them it went on for like 5 mins ^^.















....... but then this..... Priceless !!!

Following the fanfare Milla got I found myself getting frustrated as progress seemed to be getting slower due to the sheer volume of people hunting (especially bows elfs) ........... where do they hide ??? do people just lock then up in the cupboard under the stairs and only bring them out for events, it certainly felt like it. So many times I wanted to shout

"More Bow elfs please I found a mop without any arrows in !!!"

However what was really nice was that it was the same people doing shifts a set in the day and a set in the night.... and some like me who were working double shifts ( See updated bot watch !!). Most people did not mop steal and when they did appolgised.... it happens from time to time and want to say thankyou for putting up with my doze leveling.

** This is when I am so sleepy I just see mops.... nothing but mops and do not see the elf standing next to it stuffing it with arrows >.< **

Sometimes it was just plain embaressing !!! Sorry guys :)

** First Doll on the sever **

Not only was Zyxial the first person to get a cute doll.... but managed to pull a warewolf out of the random pile which I am sure will do very nicley.

The Doll does a nice little animation when it activates (in this case delivering 3% more damage). It was doing it quite often abut 1 every 8-10 swings.... which is quite nice !!

With the forums being filled with sightings of bots botting the pet match, then botting the fishing.... and now the haunted house it is only a matter of time until we find out what price they pull out of there arse to charge us for the dolls.

Well done Zyxial for being the first on Ken to get a doll :D

*** Event Update ***

Well we are at the half way point through the event and everyone has got there head down to do some grinding... New TOS was totally heaving with at least 20-25 people in at any one time. I can fully understandwhy at 0.017% a pop !!

For my sins of going to see James bond Milla put in a long shift on Friday night and pulled something quite special out of the bag. I got greeted by Corro announcing that Milla had gone from 60% to almost 75% in one evening.... Awesome effort.

This was followed up tonight with an equally strong finish on 89% tonight leaving milla coasting to level 51 tommorow.... and fair play to her becuas she has risen to the challange.

I managed to get to 75% today making it doubtful I will be Level 50 this weekend, however monday is looking very good... I have until 2pm GMT go go go !!!

I want to make posts about all the people that have leveled up during the event, so please drop me a mail in game.

*** Bot watch Special edition ***

Some of these people in the picture above are hard working players who are hoping that whilst they are asleep somewill buy there items so when they come back they have a litle extra pot money... or if your lucky enough to have a (???) for 90m then I would call it a little more then extra pot money. ^^

Some of these people in this picture are bots... they are known bots and provide us with day to day resources.... they are however still cheats. There are 2 ways of cheating, in my eyes one is worse then the other but a cheat is a cheat. These 2 ways are

* Auto Hunt - This allows people to gain high levels very quickly with no skill. A lot of high level players do it honestly ( some almost honestly!!)

* Buying Adena - This is the one I have less of a problem with mainly because you can use this to give your self a little leg up to get yourself set up and could make the game more enjoyable for new players..... the fact is though that those days spent as a noob are character building and add to the game expeience..... Anyone who was a propper noober will know TI/DVC/SKT/Mainland caves quite well.

At the end of the day though it is cheating as we all work hard to get 20m yet someone can just click a button and get 50m with little or no effort.... once again it is not fair on honest players.

We have all seen bots, we can all name some bots and yet for me I don't care that much ( I love the way bots create fast spawn!!).... however I am dissapointed when it is an in game friend, player you respected or maybe someone even closer to home.

Unfortunatly i have one such in game friend.... and it is a real shame !!!
